The idea and tutorial for this card came from KittyKraft Blog Rosebud tutorial. I altered it slightly to make use of the punches I already had.

3D Rose card
I love this card, I actually made 2 identical ones at the same time, one given to a close friend and the other to my Mum for Mothers day.

Im Back!
After a long, much needed break away from crafting and card making, I can finally say that I am back!
I owe ALOT to a lovely lady called Kitty whos blog I across some time ago, which just inspired me so much, I had a go at card making again and loved it! Now my mojo is coming back and I have a massive urge to use up all my craft stash instead of saving it all for that "special card" which never comes...
If you'd like to check out Kitty's blog, it can be found here at: KittyKraft There are lots of amazing tutorials for some truely stunning cards.
Watch this space for more cards coming up!

My Memories Suite Software Review
Recently I was contacted by a company called My Memories asking if I'd like to review their software "My Memory Suite"
After looking at their site I thought why not? Initially as a card maker I was a little sceptical thinking it was purely for digital scrapbookers, but after having a play around this is not the case!
Upon initial start up of the software, you are prompted to choose your album, I simply selected Design my Own and chose album size 5"X7".
From there on, everything is very simple and intuitive. On the right hand side is the control panel where you can find all sorts of wonderful items to add to your page or card. (Theres also a bar across the top of the screen that opens up the same menus). Then its literally just a case of deciding which backgrounds to use, you can choose on the pre set backgrounds or upload on of your own.
You can add music, narration, videos..im not sure I can think of anything that you cannot add!
Here is my 5" x 7" card I made. I aimed for Black and White so that I could print it out, having only a black and white laser printer..it seemed pointless trying to get amazing colours.
I also made a 5"x5" card
So making both of these cards, never having used a Digital Scrapbooking/Card making software ever before, actually took less time than it did for me to write this Blog post!
Now for the Good News!
If you would like to get your hands on a free copy of this Fantastic software, keep an eye out on here because I will be Launching a Giveaway for your very own FULL COPY of My Memories Suite over the next couple of days.
But if you cant wait a few days, you can purchase the Full version here, with a $10 discount! All you need to do at checkout is enter (cut and paste is recommended) this code: STMMMS28513 and the discount will be applied.

A special for post for a Lady about my Shaping Tool
This is a special post for a Lady that emailed me a few weeks ago regarding a tool I use on one of my Flower videos.
First I would like to apologise for taking so long to get back to you, Life has seriously taken over recently and I barely have time to think. And now amongst my thousands of emails I still have to filter through, I cannot find your message so I hope you get to read this..
The tool I use I purchased many many years ago on Ebay, searching the internet and Ebay, I cannot find another tool that looks anything like it, but the packet says on it "3D Shaping Tool and Mat"
There are many other versions of this tool out there, and to be honest, I only really use the ball shaped end.
Hope That Helps,
Caroline

Im still around!
Im still around!
I've jsut been extremely busy over the past few weeks helping run an after school group called FAST (Families and Schools Together) run by Save The Children, and also had a few card commisions so have had lots of planning and making for those too, along with a brand new laser printer to help along the way!
Im also sorting out starting up a business as Mobile Beauty Therapist. I qualified as a Beauty Therapist in May/June and now want to put it to practice!
I will have more stuff on here soon, but at present it has had to take the back burner while my life gets a major overhaul! Originally I anticipated that once my youngest started Nursery, would get 2.5 hours everyday to craft. This has not been the case at all! Eek

I've got a laser printer coming!
After suffering Inkjet printers for many many years, never re-filling the colour cartridges because I just never print colour and they are just SO expensive, I've finally taken the plunge and invested in a Laser Printer.
After months and lots of research, I settled with the Samsung SCX-3205W. Its a 3 in 1 mono printer with Wireless function.
My Husband said he wants me to have wireless to stop me from perching my laptop next to him everytime I want to print!
So now I cant wait for it to arrive and making use of all those digi stamps available out there! No more smudged lines and text!
