These Doilies were easy and quick to make and cut using Nellie Snellen Dies.
Both measure approximately 3"
I didnt really have any ideas when I started. So I started by picking a small piece of glittered paper for one and worked off that, adding bits from my craft cupboard as I went along.
The flower originally started off yellow, but them I added watercolour pens to the edges and blended the ink with my water pen. The little centre flower is a chipboard flower that I coated with rock candy crackel paint then rubbed faded jeans distress re-inker into the top.
The second doily was distressed using Tattered Rose distress ink and a folded Dahlia flower was added.
The flower was made by folding 8 1" circles, then adhering them to the centre of another circle to hold them in place. I glittered the edge of the finished flower with stickles to give some sparkle.

Quick Easel card
This is a card made for my Charity box.
I came across a tub of Rosettes I had a made when having a clearout, and instantly this idea popped into my head.
To make the card, I used a normal A6 card blank, and creased and folded the front in half.
The Best Wishes greeting I made myself in Inkscape, and I love them!

New Home Card
This card is for my Mother-in-law who has just moved house.
The background is made using a "That Special Touch" Mask: Butterflies over which I applied Tim Holtz Tattered Rose distress ink. I then drew around the mask as a stencil using a pale purple pen. Silver pen was added to the butterflies. Walnut stain was applied to the edges.
Flowers are made using Marianne Designs Creatables Flower fantasy and Flora 1 dies, instructions can be found Here.
I punched an oval in white card and distressed it with the Tattered Rose Distress ink and applied it over lace.

Cuttlebug Embossed Brother Birthday Card
This card was made using the Cuttlebug Clockworks embossing folder on rust coloured card. I then used silver and bronze acrylic paint and a dry sponge applicator to add a distressed look.
The label was cut from Brown Kraft-like card from the inside of wrapping paper roll using Nestabilities labels #4. Silver acrylic was applied using a dry sponge applicator.
Tim Holtz alterations Chip Block die was used for the wording, again cut from the Kraft-like card and distessed with the acrylic paint.

I made this Mothers Day card for My Mum using the Tag I made for Rumtruffles Tag challenge last month.
The background card was simply distressed using Tim Holtz Tattered Rose and to the corners I added 3 drops of Gold Perfect Pearls.

Altered Picture Frame, Mothers Day
Mothers Day is April 3rd this year and as I live 300 miles away from my Mum, I like to make something special for her.
The frame was a plain wooden one from Ikea, which I roughly covered with torn printed sheet music. I then added Tim Holtz clear crackle.
The flowers are made from the Sizzix 3D flower die and coloured with Tim Holtz Dusty Concord.
The butteflies along the top left are a Martha Stewart Punch, the dangly is an old earring to which I added an irridescent gem and the heart I made using Resin and a chocolate mould from Poundland.
The Mum label is cut using Nestabilities labels 10 and again coloured with Tim Holtz Dusty concord. The letters I'm not sure about, they were from my stash and bright pink! I coloured them black using permenant marker.
I've got a nice summery photo of Me and my Mum together to go into the frame.

Tag Challenge February 2011
Mothers Day Tag Challenge.
This month I've taken part in a Tag Challenge hosted by Helen at A Crafty Kind Of Truffle
This Tag was such fun to make, I really enjoyed it!
To make the Tag I used a Tim Holtz alterations die cut Tag. Dusty concord Distress ink was used on the tag base, and Walnut Stain Distress ink used on the eyelet ring and label.
The Label is a Nestabilities Label #10, and the flourish is a Tim Holtz die cut flourish cut from Chipboard and coloured using Shabby Shutters. (it came out quite dark on the grey chipboard).
The edges of the flowers were distressed with Walnut Stain distress ink again, and a button added using Raffia.
The Book corners are my favourite. These were made using the Martha Stewart Photo corner punch, which fold around the back of the page so caneasily fit onto thick items like chipboard or grungeboard. I embossed the punchies with a cuttlebug embossing folder, and added Walnut Stain distress ink.
Bronze Perfect pearls were rubbed over all raised areas to give a bronze, aged look.
Im going to be adding this tag to the front of a card to give to my Mum for Mothers Day (along with an altered photo frame I made for her, which will be added very soon!)
Distressed decoupaged card
This card was made using a kit I bought from TK Maxx in the January sales for £1.
The kit had enough bits in it to make 20 cards and included 8x8" papers, die cut flowers that have some embossing on them, some gems and lots of chipboard tags.
I distressed the edges of the paper, and the edges of all the flower layers and the edges of the chipboard tag using the Tim Holtz edge distress tool. Walnut stain Distress ink was added to all the raw edges and over the tag. I knotted some ribbon and added an extra hole to the tag.
I left the Tag blank, this is where I will add a greeting, but as I didnt make it for anything specific, it'll go itno my box until its needed then a peel off will be added.
