Upcycled Flocked Wallpaper Card

A very cheap card to make!

A Sample of Flock Wallpaper was used on this card. I cut around one of the flowers and stuck it onto a card blank, added a few gems to the centre!

I've seen cards like this in  some shops for stupidly high prices. This card cost only a few pennies!

Thats it for a While, A change is coming

I'm currently working on some new projects after having a bit of a lost Mojo and not being happy with my style anymore and having a HUGE clearout of my card making stuff. Some of my recent cards havnt been up to my usual standard and its time for new things!

Im going to be doing more hand drawn artwork and more Sillhouette cut cards that I've created from scratch, along with a few more crafty projects such as keyrings and cushions I make along the way.

It's taken a long time to convince my 7 year old that yes, Mummy CAN draw, and Yes, She DID draw this dinosaur all by herself!

Watch over the next couple of weeks for a change!

Butterfly Swirl Card

Another Butterfly card from me
This card was made using some free papers from a Craft magazine that I found when having a clearout. The punched border was done with an EK Success Morrocan edge punch and the butterfly cut using Marianne D Creatables die.
The Swirl was added using stickles and my free Rhinestone template

Unfinished Christmas card?

This card an unfinished piece.

The background paper was from a stack of grunge style papers I found in my craft bag, I dont know who made them.
I matted it onto red cardstock and added some ribbon and green velvet ric rac.

It needs "something" else added to it, im still working on it.

Handmade Buttons

I love Buttons and have always want to make my own but have been unsuccessful finding button blanks. Until now.
These buttons measure 23mm across and are made using some small pieces of pink fabric and white lace.

Buttons are SO quick and easy to make, your imagination is your only limit.

Cuttlebug Embossed Happy Birthday card

This card was quite simple to make.

The card blank was inked with Tsukineko Brilliance 3 colour Aurora ink pad (a real bargain for £1 in WHSmith!) and I embossed matt silver card using the Cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder.
I sanded the top to reveal the white core and rubbed the Brilliance 3 colour ink pad over.
The die cut topper is a Nestibilities labels 10 and an oval topper created by Myself in Inkscape.
The paper flower was a from a random pack I picked up cheap at a craft fair. The were a cream with green and pink blobs on them. I rubbed the Brilliance Aurora ink pad over them. The ink pad has a lovely subtle sparkle to it and worked well on the flowers!

Grunge Butterflies card

This card was a quick make using some papers I found in my craft bag.

Im sorry I have no idea what the paper is, it was a stack I found of grunge style papers.
The butterfly is a Marianne D Creatable butterfly, and the small doily circle is from Nellie Snellen.
The Happy Birthday topper I made myself and printed out.

Guest Designer!

Making Memories contacted me and asked if I would make a project using my Slice cutter. I wasn't going to say No was I! I had come up with this idea a few days before I was contacted, I used to make much much smaller versions of this card at 1 3/4" years ago, the nI found one whilst sorting and instantly knew I could make them again using my Slice. And here it is on the Making Memories Blog.

This is why I've been quiet for a while, Ive been busy making this project!

More Crafty Clearout

Been having a bit of a clearout again, this time I have lots of Buttons and some Brand New Dimension Fourth stamps on Ebay here.
I love Dimension fourth Stamps because the quality of the stamp is amazing. They're made from thick acrylic and dont break easily like most other clear stamps I have. I think I own most of their stock. Oops.

Girly 18th Birthday Card using Making Memories slice

This is one of my favourite cards.
Its a DL size card base, with swirls stamped in metallic pink ink and gems added to the flower centres.

The 18 was cut from dark pink mirri card using Making Memories slice and Basic Elements design card, using the shadow facility. A small flower gem adds even more sparkle.

Making Memories Slice Princess Card

I made this card some time ago to go into my card box and I put it in and forgot all about it!

The card was made using my Making Memories Slice and the Big Kids Desing Card.
I cut the dress at 4" from a gold pearlescent very thick vellum (its more like a very thin plastic, Sizzix Sizzlits struggle to cut through it).
The Princess is also cut from the same vellum and design card, and the scallop border is a Martha Stewart Punch
