Another quick card!
This card measures 5"x5" and all the components were previously made from my 'experimenting'.
The background is distress ink brushed through a hexagon stencil and cut slightly smaller than my card front.
The flowers are Sheena Douglass Anemone die and stamps, I LOVE these stamps, utterly gorgeous!
I stamped them onto white card, die cut them out and inked them using distress ink and a water brush. Once dry, I shaped them using my flower tool and mat and a small pearl embellishment was added for the centre. I then added stickles with my fingers over the tops of the petals and leaves to add a little sparkle.
Originally the flowers and leaves were adhered to the card using silicone, but it just was not sticking, so I scraped it all off and used foam pads instead!
The greeting was die cut from white Papermill card and gently inked with distress ink.

Hot air balloon card using my Craft Robo
I really enjoyed making this card. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to, which is something that does not happen very often to me!
The recipient was my Step-Dad for his birthday and I started off by making the hotair balloon on my Craft Robo. It did involve some hair pulling when I couldnt get bits to weld, but I eventually figured it out and now its something I will never forget. The clouds were also designed and cut using my craft robo. They are simply lots of different sized circles welded together!
I love making digi stamped greetings in inkscape too. I make a full A4 sheet at a time and punch them all out with a 1 and 3/4" circle punch and stick them on using foam pads.

Mums Birthday card
This year I was a bit stumped on what to make for my Mums birthday card. She has begun card making too so I wanted something simple, but also fab looking so she could easily copy the design. This is what I came up with, using the Marianne D Anja corner die. I absolutly LOVE this die!
The card measures 5"x5" and the paper was from a free stack from a magazine (I dont know what its called, it was quite an old pack! (3-4yrs old!!) And my Making Memories slice was used to cut "MUM" while gold Liquid Pearls were dotted along the edge.

Window Birthday Card
This die is stunning. Its so simple but effective. The die is a Cottage Cutz die, "window with canopy" die, which I turned the canopy upside down to make the window box!
Again the idea and inspiration for this card came from Kitty at KittyKraft. I made two of these cards, slightly different and gave them for Birthdays for my Mother in law and Sister in law.

Cuttlebug Embossed Happy Birthday card
This card was quite simple to make.
The card blank was inked with Tsukineko Brilliance 3 colour Aurora ink pad (a real bargain for £1 in WHSmith!) and I embossed matt silver card using the Cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder.
I sanded the top to reveal the white core and rubbed the Brilliance 3 colour ink pad over.
The die cut topper is a Nestibilities labels 10 and an oval topper created by Myself in Inkscape.
The paper flower was a from a random pack I picked up cheap at a craft fair. The were a cream with green and pink blobs on them. I rubbed the Brilliance Aurora ink pad over them. The ink pad has a lovely subtle sparkle to it and worked well on the flowers!

Butterfly Rub-On Birthday Card
I dont usually "do" coloured card bases, especially not black, but I picked up a pack of square cards in sale and now I'm hooked!
This card was made using some rub-ons that came in a set wiht lots of other bits in TK Maxx. I have no idea who made them, but they're so vivid!
The Sentiment I made myself using a book of American Crafts Rub-ons I've had lurking for a few years.

Best Wishes Card
This card was made a while ago, I'd packed it away in my box of cards and forgotten about it and found it when I was having a sort through!
I cant remember the paper I used, but I do recognise it as a stack that came free with a card making magazine. The spotty ribbon is upcycled from Pyjamas, the greeting is a pack of docrafts ones, 6 for 25p, which I distressed with my distress tool.
The flower is made using Marianne D Creatables flower dies, as in my video here.

Book easel card
I'm really enjoying Easel cards at the moment and what better than a Book Easel card!
The papers I used are We R Memory Keepers, inked with vintage photo distress ink. The flower is also a Papermania white paper flower, inked with vintage photo distress ink.
The border on the bas is punched using a Martha Stewart scallop punch.
It needs a little "something else" but I cant quite put my finger on what..

60th Birthday card, using my Slice Elite
My Dad turns 60 at the beginning of June, I dont see him very often as we live about 300miles apart, so I like to make him a card.
This is the first card I have made since my "mojo" disapeared, and I managed to get my New Slice machine in on the action too.
I used the Basic elements Design card for the letters, They are 2" shadowed.
The black embossed paper is actually wallpaper! I had a gentle stroll around the wallpaper department of B&Q last weekend and was amazed at the stunning wallpaper! This particular one is a Kitchen and Bathrrom paper.
The peel offs were de-bossed, which I like because it adds another texture.
The black dots are white card candy that I coloured with permenant marker.

Quick Girly Birthday Card
Easter Theme Stickers were used to embellish this card. I have tonnes of Paperchase stickers (my three boys love them and get them as rewards, we must have about 20 packs at least of various stickers).
The idea for this card came from my 6 year old, and I think it works well!
A quick simple card.

Simple Flower Card
Brown is not a colour I work with out of choice. (Except for Distress ink!), but this card came easily.
The papers are from a Dovecraft paper stack, which I embellished with Bronze gems from Hobbycraft and edged with a Martha Stewart edge punch and for some reason, I had metres and metres (about 40!) of brown ribbon that worked well with this colour scheme.

Butterfly Easel Card
The idea for this card came from a Card Making Demo day I attended on 2nd April, hosted by Simply Craft.
Its basically an A6 card Easel folded, with the butterfly wires attached through the top fold.
The Butterflies came from a pack from Poundland and the Oval topper is a Nestabilites Oval die cut.

Quick Pretty Card
I made this card for my Brother in laws girlfriends Birthday. I dont know her very well so wanted something that was suitable for anyone.
The paper was from a Papermania Capsule collection stack and the edge punch is a Fiskars cut and emboss punch.
I added very small nail gems along the embossed line for a little "extra" and coloured the peel off greeting with permanent marker.
