Hot air balloon card using my Craft Robo

I really enjoyed making this card. It turned out exactly how I wanted it to, which is something that does not happen very often to me!
The recipient was my Step-Dad for his birthday and I started off by making the hotair balloon on my Craft Robo. It did involve some hair pulling when I couldnt get bits to weld, but I eventually figured it out and now its something I will never forget. The clouds were also designed and cut using my craft robo. They are simply lots of different sized circles welded together!
I love making digi stamped greetings in inkscape too. I make a full A4 sheet at a time and punch them all out with a 1 and 3/4" circle punch and stick them on using foam pads.

I'm BACK!!!

My Thumb is alot better now, although there are still some things I cant do, like hold a pen properly, but I have a brace to wear to use pens and keep using stress balls to strengthen it. I'll get there eventually.

So while I've been gone, Ive got out my Craft Robo Lite again. I get it out, try making something then give up. Ive had it 2 years now and used it about 5 times. I can tell by the number of cut marks on the cutting mat!
I've been having a good play with Silhouette studio and think ive finally figured it out! YAY. So I'm on a whirl at the moment thrashing out lots of cut files while I practise and figure everything out.
So far Ive made a Hot Air Balloon, Word frames, Welded words, A truck shaped card, a princess shaped card, clouds and I know a few others that I cant remember right now.

All these files that I've been making while learning, I will add on here for free. They will be studio files and for personal use only and not for sharing elsewhere. But more about that at the time.

Free Book Card Template and Stand Template

I have made a Template which makes an A6 sized Bookatrix style card and Stand.

At the moment its only available in Studio format, for use with the Craft Robo or Sillhouette cutting machines, once I manage to convert it to other formats, I will add them.

I will also add a picture so you can view the template before you decide to download it.
