Masculine Card

This 5" x 5"card, I made for my Father in laws Birthday.
I used Papermania Jesse papers for the bottom half, some embossed metallic papers from my Stash on the top, and an EK success open scallop punch for the lace across the middle.
The stamp on the oval is a Kanban sentiments set and I made some Faux Bakers twine

60th Birthday card, using my Slice Elite

My Dad turns 60 at the beginning of June, I dont see him very often as we live about 300miles apart, so I like to make him a card.

This is the first card I have made since my "mojo" disapeared, and I managed to get my New Slice machine in on the action too.
I used the Basic elements Design card for the letters, They are 2" shadowed.
The black embossed paper is actually wallpaper! I had a gentle stroll around the wallpaper department of B&Q last weekend and was amazed at the stunning wallpaper! This particular one is a Kitchen and Bathrrom paper.
The peel offs were de-bossed, which I like because it adds another texture.
The black dots are white card candy that I coloured with permenant marker.

New Baby Boy Card

Im unsure about this card. I wasnt 100% happy with it.
The paper is like a silver glitter, but the glitter is embedded into the paper. I edged the paper with the Martha Stewart Scallop punch and the die cut New Baby greeting came from a baby boy pack from Paperchase.

Handmade Mini Cushion Pillow

This Mini cushion took me about 2 hours to make.
The flowers are cut from Felt using Marianne D Creatables flower dies and the leaves are cut using PaperArtsy Grunge Flower and leaf Die.

The gem flourish I made by using my Flourish Template here
This is the first cushion I have made and I love it. I really want to keep it but there is just no place for it in my home so I will have to depart with it.

Vintage Heirloom Necklace

My mum loves this necklace, which belonged to my Great Gran.
Unfortunately, there were no earrings or bracelet to match. So I have been on the lookout for a couple of years for some matching blue beads. The photos do not show it clearly, but the blue is a vibrant blue and nothing seemed to match up right. Until the Hobbycraft Sale last Christmas. I came across a pack of bright blue glass beads for 99p! I bought them, too them to my mu, and they were the almost (about 99%) perfect colour match!
Upon examining the necklace, I noticed the beading string was badly worn and the beads needed a good tidy. So I brouhgt it back home with me, restrung it onto new stronger string and made a Matching bracelet and earrings.

And here is the bracelet and earrings alongside the necklace:

Bitty bodies,hair and clothes
And some Cuttlebug and Quickutz dies to name only a few..
Most of them are brand new and still in boxes! (I bought them with good intentions and as they've never been used, its time to say goodbye!)
