Cuttlebug Embossed Happy Birthday card

This card was quite simple to make.

The card blank was inked with Tsukineko Brilliance 3 colour Aurora ink pad (a real bargain for £1 in WHSmith!) and I embossed matt silver card using the Cuttlebug Birthday embossing folder.
I sanded the top to reveal the white core and rubbed the Brilliance 3 colour ink pad over.
The die cut topper is a Nestibilities labels 10 and an oval topper created by Myself in Inkscape.
The paper flower was a from a random pack I picked up cheap at a craft fair. The were a cream with green and pink blobs on them. I rubbed the Brilliance Aurora ink pad over them. The ink pad has a lovely subtle sparkle to it and worked well on the flowers!

Cuttlebug Embossed Brother Birthday Card

This card was made using the Cuttlebug Clockworks embossing folder on rust coloured card. I then used silver and bronze acrylic paint and a dry sponge applicator to add a distressed look.
The label was cut from Brown Kraft-like card from the inside of wrapping paper roll using Nestabilities labels #4. Silver acrylic was applied using a dry sponge applicator.
Tim Holtz alterations Chip Block die was used for the wording, again cut from the Kraft-like card and distessed with the acrylic paint.

Embossed 40th Birthday Card

This was a very quick card I made for the 40th Birthday of a "School Mum" friend.

The card blank was made by folding an A5 sheet in half lengthways.
I used a Crafts Concept embossing folder to emboss the irridescent paper. This paper is stunning. The photo really does not capture how pretty is it. It's like a vellum but its 200gsm and has a plasticy feel to it.

Tiny Gems were added to the flower centres and the peel off greeting put on.
